1941 PONTIAC
COUPE - KENNY G.
My father bought this car in about 1988 as a
project to work on in the evenings. He worked
on the car on and off for about 3 years and then
lost interest in the car. Several years later
we decided to have a body shop do the final body
and paint work. Once that was done, the car still
needed a lot of detailing, a completely new wiring
harness and several mechanical issues that had
to be dealt with. After the car was painted it
sat in storage for close to 4 years. I finally
decided to have a friend of mine help me get the
car on the road. We did all of the final work
without my father even knowing. Just before Fathers
Day of 2003 we completed the car and on Fathers
day I drove the car to his house to surprise him.
He didn't even realize it was his car for several
minutes, he thought I had just bought another
Pontiac. |

1969 GTO
& 1970 GTO - BRIAN C.
I bought this '69 GTO in December 2000 from "Old
Car Nut Steve". It came out of Lake Tahoe,
Ca and was virtually rust free! It's a factory
A/C car, disc brakes and power windows. I have
added several options that could have been originally
installed from the factory, thanks to ebay and
some local car enthusiasts. I have taken this
car from basket case to almost running and complete
in 7 years. It has a Ponticac 400 motor and turbo
400 auto trans.
This '70 GTO convertible to me is the "Holy
Grail" of GTO muscle cars. I stumbled upon
it in June, 2004 sitting on a used car lot in
Ogden. It is a factory 400 w/muncie 4 speed and
is one of 887 cars built like this in 1970. Although
it's still a diamond in the rough, I drive it
and love every minute of it. This winter (2007)
it's receiving a new 455 and Tremec 5 speed. Anyone
know where to get a discount on tires? :)

1978 PONTIAC TRANS AM
OWNED BY MEMBER RICK O.
I purchase this car new in March of 1978. The
car is a WS6 Trans Am most factory options that
were available with a 4-speed vehicle. Shortly
after purchasing the car, I installed a Fosgate
stereo system that was a popular option on the
Macho T/A’s in 1978. The car has approximately
32,000 original miles and is all original except
for the paint, tires and stereo.
