The Pontiac Oakland Club International - Great Salt Lake Chapter

Welcome to the new home of the Great Salt Lake Chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI), serving Pontiac aficionados of all sorts. POCI is the international organization catering to all years and models of Pontiacs and Oaklands, and the Great Salt Lake Chapter was founded 15 years ago to serve POCI members in the Intermountain West. We are a small but enthusiastic bunch of Pontiac fans, and we hope that by moving our presence into cyberspace we can better serve our members, current and prospective.

The Pontiac Oakland Club International - Great Salt Lake Chapter (GSLC-POCI)

 We are a chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI). The POCI and our club are dedicated to all years of Pontiacs and Oakland automobiles. People wanting to join our chapter are supposed to join POCI also, though we don’t force the issue. If you’d rather not join POCI, we will still welcome you. We are a very informal club (none of the typical club BS) and are mostly just a bunch of local Pontiac enthusiasts that like to get together every now and then and hang out. We have been a club since December of 1992. Many of us own cars other than just our Pontiacs and are just interested in old cars in general. Our meetings usually consist of going to breakfast or a cruise somewhere in our old cars. We also publish a bi-monthly newsletter. Joining our club is a good way to network with local people who have and/or know about Pontiacs.


We welcome new members and would love to have you join us and enjoy the fun. Club membership is $20 per year (POCI cost $35 annually). That basically pays for the cost of our website and getting the newsletter up on our website.

If you are not an "official" member of the GSLC-POCI, you will still find much of interest here on our site. Most importantly, we will post information regarding opportunities where members and non-members can get together to socialize, BS and show off their cars. Members will be provided with a password that will provide access to enhanced services, and information on how to make that happen can be found on the page entitled "X". So whether you have a vintage Oakland, a '50's era Chieftain, or a musclecar-era GTO or Firebird, please take a look around at this website, and join in the fun.
