FROM THE PRESIDENT:

Welcome to Spring… well sort of. Even though the calendar says it’s Spring, the snow that is coming down today sure isn’t what I think of when I think Spring time. But, it’s of no surprise I guess. My dad told me about 15 years ago that it always snows in April, and since the year he told me, there has never been an April in this area with no snow. He said someone once told him that back in the 60’s and as far as he could remember he’d never seen an April in northern Utah without snow.

This is however the time of year when it will be snowing one day and 75 degrees the next. The weather is forecasted this weekend to be in the mid 70’s and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m also hoping that the weather will be that nice on April 25th Why you ask? That is the date we have set for our next meeting.

This meeting will be at Sugar House Park, Friday April 25th at 6:30 PM. We’ve picked that location with the hope that it will be a nice day to get your Pontiacs out and go for a drive. We’re going to meet on the upper level (if parking is available), near the entrance, off 2100 south. The plan is that after everyone shows up we can send someone across the street and grab some chicken from KFC. Be sure you bring a lawn chair.

If by chance the weather looks like it’s going to be too bad for an outdoor meeting, check the web site for an alternate location or give Kenny a call at 435-840-4099.
